Classic yet original; traditional yet progressive, Art Hide creates originally designed and ethically sourced leather products of an heirloom quality. Art Hide is born out of a spirit of adventure, a love of people and a vision for what brings beauty to an environment.
The company was formed by Australian sisters, Kura Perkins and Bree Hay-Hendry in 2009. Entrepreneur and former PR executive Kura’s travels in South America inspired the Art Hide vision and Bree’s skills as a textile and fashion designer brought the concept to life. The duo’s expertise, combined with the traditional skills of their meticulous leather-craft team and an array of cutting edge technologies, have created timeless everyday masterpieces for hundreds of clients.
Art Hide’s premium quality cowhide is sourced as a by-product of the meat industry from regulated tanneries, where methods involved in tanning and dyeing are always safe for workers and are non pollutant.

Design Support
We have extensive experience in creating custom rugs and vertical installations for residential, commercial and hospitality applications. We will work closely with you from the creative concept through to detailed designs and production. This includes a three stage sign off process for all custom pieces where clients can view and approve the rug at each stage of manufacturing, prior to sewing.

Colour
The colour selection process is made easy by our extensive existing library of over 200 colors. If you require something to match Pantone shades, fabrics or samples, we will lab dip for you free of charge to match the color scheme to your requirements. This is a fast and easy process and can usually be undertaken in less than two weeks.
